The BACCHUS Network Appreciates Your
Support!
Peer Educator. Teacher. Leader. Role Model.
Activist. Friend. Our involvement as a student leader or advisor
as part of our network is often a very personal and passionate
story. For some, that involvement means continuing to live
out convictions that are deeply rooted in the core of who
we are. For others, our peer education experiences gave us
the confidence to believe in ourselves as we continue to teach
and support others. And for some, peer education became a
life-changing moment for us or for someone we helped along
the way – and the difference made was so significant
that words become useless in attempting to describe the experience.
When it comes to the experiences that we
have gained from our dedication to promoting health and safety
issues, the word priceless comes to mind. Numerous hours were
spent in training, programming, making flyers, attending conferences
and recruiting students, all in an effort to make a positive
change in our campus community. As many peer educators graduate
and advisors move on to other career opportunities, we take
with us the pearls of our involvement – compassion,
wisdom, sense of service, sense of self, organization, leadership
to use in our next professional, civic or academic role.
For many of us who have experienced
the power of peer education, we look to continue the connection.
You can find that connection in The BACCHUS Network™
Alumni and Friends Program.
Since 1975 The BACCHUS Network™ have
been making a difference in the lives of college students.
Our peer educators and advisors are committed to promoting
positive lifestyles and ending negative consequences that
result from alcohol abuse and other high risk behaviors.
Our students are dedicated to providing
education and programs that speak to college students about
high risk drinking and impaired driving prevention, tobacco
cessation, sexual responsibility, and other drug use prevention.
Perhaps you are a parent, an advisor, a former peer educator,
